| Due to our decision to focus on showing and breeding, we are downsizing our herd in preparation for the Futurity sales at the end of the year. | Caddy (A Cadillac Style) Caddy is a 15 year old registered Overo Paint and Pinto. He stands 15 hands high. He has 4 white stockings and a bald face. He has one brown eye and one blue eye. He also has amazing "snowflakes" which get bolder in the winter. Although Caddy originally trained as a reiner, he is an excellent all around western horse and can be ridden by beginners and experienced riders alike. Caddy won the Denver Stock Show in Reining as a 4 year old and he has been used in our lesson program for Western riding. At a "De-Spooking" clinic Caddy just wandered through all the obstacles and scary things as if her were out for a gentle stroll. We also took him to the Polish Festival where, as you can see, he was not fazed by the armor and feathers or the strange rider. Neither did he bother about the muskets and cannon that were being fired all around him. Caddy is an excellent horse and if you are looking for a trail horse, a western riding horse or a green or rookie reiner he will fit the bill. He will still turn around, lead change, fast and slow circles and roll back. He does stop but needs tuning up to get the best out of him. | Beaumaris Mirage (Mirage) Mirage is a 6 year old Section A Welsh pony. Because his mother was young when she was bred, the Welsh Pony and Cob Society will only recognize him as a half Welsh so that is how he is registered. Mirage's sire (Nantdywyll Capten)has been a Grand Champion ands Mirage has inherited his classy stance and his beautiful knee action at the trot. Mirage is 11.1 hands and is as strong as they come. He has been ridden both English and Western and has been used lightly in our lesson program and will w/t/c and jump cross rails. I have started Mirage in driving training and he is really doing well with ground driving. He would be a wonderful investment as a green driving pony. Unlike many small ponies, Mirage is not mean and he does not bite or kick unless attacked in the herd and then only to defend himself or "his women". Mirage has a mischievous personality and loves to untie your shoe laces. He is also pretty good at picking your pocket and "borrowing" things to play with. He is an excellent baby sitter and has done a wonderful job with our babies when they are being weaned. | Belle Cheval (Belle) Belle is a drop-dead gorgeous Morgan / TB cross yearling. She is already 14.1 hands and will make over 16 hands when she is finished growing. Belle has inherited her mother's fluid Morgan action and is extremely flashy. She will make a great sport horse or jumper. Belle leads, stands, ties, cross ties, picks up her feet, LOVES to be groomed and loads into the trailer. She has a wonderful personality and is loved by everyone.
