Circle P Western is a family business dedicated to the western way of life.  We make
and sell Native American style crafts, predominately Dream Catchers and Mandellas.
We also own, breed, sell and show horses.  Our primary focus is on the American
Quarter Horse for the sport of Reining, although we do sometimes have other
breeds and disciplines for sale.
April Blizzard is the Grande Dam of
the herd.  She is our former Reining
show horse and is now 24 years
young.  She is
double registered with
the
Buckskin Registry and the AQHA,
and  is 98% foundation Quarter Horse.

April is now retired and is living her
days out at our barn, eating, getting
fat and teasing the boys.
We Welcome you to our world and we suggest that you
take a look around and get to know us and our products
better.

April and Summer
at 6 weeks old
Our current herd of horses stands at 4 - let us introduce them to you.
April Blizzard
Aprils Summer Star is April's 5 year old daughter.  Her daddy
is the NRHA Reining Futurity's Reserve Champion, Miffilena.

Summer was trained by Matt Palmer of Palmer Performance
Horses in Pennsylvania and is currently in foal to Lil Ruff
Rider who you can see on the Palmer web site
(
www.palmerperformancehorses.com)and on his current
owners' site, Mike and Nathalie McEntire of Selma, NC
(
www.mcentirereining.com)

She may be small (14.1 hands at the last measure) but she
has inherited her mother's alpha mare attitude and has a
heart bigger than Texas!
Beaumaris Mirage (Mirage) is our class clown.  He is a 7
year old Section A Welsh pony.  He rides English and
Western and is currently learning to drive under the
terrific tutelage of Gretchen.
Mirage loves to play and has been a great babysitter for
our babies when they are weaned.
He is also pretty good at untying your shoe laces and
"borrowing" any items you may have handy.

The latest addition to our herd is
Piningforstarznbucks - we call him Starbuck.

Starbuck is a 3 year old sorrel quarter horse
gelding and is currently in training with Matt
Palmer of Palmer Performance Horses.

Starbuck is about to start his reining career so
watch this space for pictures of him as he starts
out on the show circuit.
